LAS VEGAS – January 05, 2017 – Auro Technologies, a Belgium-based immersive audio technology company today announced a five-year agreement with RDA Microelectronics to implement its technology offerings, such as Beautifyer®, Auro-Matic® 2D, Auro-Matic® 3D, Auro®-Cx™ Decoder, Auro®-Cx™ Engine, and others on RDA’s chips.
The partnership puts industry-leading 3D sound capabilities in RDA’s products for cellular, broadcast and IoT applications, while Auro gets to leverage RDA’s robust global customer network to bring the immersive sound experience to more audiences. Since its inception, more than 2 billion RDA units have been incorporated into mobile handsets, set-top boxes, MP3 players and other wireless and consumer electronic devices and sold in China, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, Africa, Russia, and Latin America.
