Lichtmond 3 will be released in stereo, Surround sound 5.1, 7.l, and Auro-3D® mixes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on October 10th 2014 (Street Date) to be followed by international releases.

The mixing of Mando Diao’s ‘Aelita’ in Auro-3D

Mando Diao’s seventh album, Aelita, is the first ever popular music album to be released in Auro-3D® sound. Until recently, this innovative audio format had only been available in professional digital cinema, but now it has been used to natively mix new music to give the listener the most immersive, life-like sound possible, creating a higher emotional experience.

The Auro-3D® mix was created by Ronald Prent at Wisseloord studios in the Netherlands and the album is mastered by Darcy Proper, 9 times Grammy Award Nominated and 3 times Award winner as well.

Aelita was released on Pure Audio Blu-ray™ and in Auro-Headphones™ format on August 8th 2014.

Mixing ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ in Auro 11.1 By Barco
