Auro-3D Immersive Sound format confirms its presence in the Porsche cars with the Cayenne

Mol, Belgium – December, 21, 2017 Auro Technologies announced that the Auro-3D® Immersive Sound experience will be available in the Burmester High-End 3D Sound System in the new Porsche Cayenne, officially launched in November.  Prior to this, in 2016, the Porsche Panamera was announced with the Burmester and Auro-3D technology Immersive Sound system.

More than 60 journalists in audio, life style, and automotive press were invited to fly in to Brussels and given the opportunity to drive a Porsche Panamera or Cayenne to Galaxy Studios. By following their navigation system in the car, they were taken on a beautiful route so they could test and enjoy the new driving experience achieved with Auro-3D in the Burmester High-End 3D Sound system. Auro Technologies Sells StormAudio / Home Entertainment and Luxury Audio Product Division to Immersive Audio Technologies via a Management Buyout Supervised by its Senior VP Yves Trélohan

Yves Trélohan, Key Managers and Saffelberg Investments have purchased Auro Technologies’ Home Entertainment and Luxury Audio Product Division. This encompasses the StormAudio hardware brand, its intellectual properties, infrastructure and inventory, all now hosted in a dedicated new company, Immersive Audio Technologies Group. The move allows Auro to focus unencumberedly on its long-term vision of innovation and software for connected, immersive and interactive audio and entertainment. It also grants StormAudio complete autonomy in all aspects of brand management as it gains momentum in the CEDIA channel worldwide.

Yves Trélohan has organized the Management Buyout with the support of Saffelberg Investments. Trélohan has served as Auro Technologies’ Home Entertainment and Luxury Audio Product Division (StormAudio) Senior Vice President since the company first acquired the brand from Digital Media Solutions in 2015, a company he was Chief Executive Officer of at the time.

Auro Technologies acquires Digital Media Solutions and its StormAudio brand
