Malayalam film wins prestigious National Film Award for Best Re-recordist
Mol, Belgium, 30 April 2014 – The first Malayalam language film mixed in Auro-3D® has won a prestigious film award in India. D.Yuvaraj, sound engineer of the film Swapaanam has won the National Film Award as ‘Best Re-recordist’ of the final mixed track.
The National Film Awards are the Indian equivalent of the American Academy Awards, and are administered by the Indian government. This year, the Awards celebrate their 61st anniversary and D. Yuvaraj will receive his award from the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee. (more…)
