WHAT’S NEW IN AURO-3D® ENCODER SERVICE V2.3.0
This release introduces two major novelties:
• New Album tab in the Source menu, enabling creation, editing, and configuration of source collections as albums.
• Native MP4 video muxing support — video is automatically muxed when added at the source level, provided its duration exactly matches the audio.
ADDITIONAL NEW FEATURES
• Enhanced audio metadata tag management with support for original file parsing, default value application, and both source-level and album-level control.
• Bulk action to unlock multiple ADM sources from the Source menu.
• Create sources by scanning folders containing mono WAV files (previously limited to interleaved files).
• File naming now supports video properties in the output menu name builder.
• Support for TOC and selected EDL file types; additional formats will be supported in future updates.
• Added “Calc” button to manually calculate Source loudness.
• Support for user-defined Loudness standards in Global Settings.
• Added ability to set FPS based on video media via Shared Settings > Config Set settings.
• Added option to generate FLAC output for binaural renders.
• Added metadata support for binaural FLAC outputs.
• Enabled Auro-Codec decoding within Auro-CX encoding workflows.
• Added “Wipe All” option in Global Settings for full data reset.
IMPROVEMENTS AND REFINEMENTS
Alongside these additions, several existing areas have been improved and refined:
• Loudness indicators are now available at both track and album levels in the statistics panel.
• Revised value ranges for parameters such as auto gain and downmix levels for better consistency and control.
• Improved clarity and readability of parameter values, item names, and shapes across the interface.
• The “Measure Output” option has been moved to the Shared tab in the configuration menu and now supports CX encodings.
• Pre-roll parameter in Auro-Codec encoder configuration is now disabled by default.
• Queue-related loading operations (e.g. Add Session) now display loaders only within the Queue panel instead of blocking the entire application.
• Updated terminology and naming consistency across Global Settings options.
• Refined Global Settings layout for improved usability.
• Added clearer error handling for sources containing media files with mismatched sample rates and/or channel layouts.
