NEWAURO BV, a leading provider of immersive sound technology for next-generation home entertainment systems, will demonstrate a new soundbar system platform for the first time at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023) in Las Vegas from January 5-7. A fully integrated solution is now available that includes the newest Auro-Scene speaker virtualization technology. It enables device manufacturers to build advanced soundbar systems ranging from stereo to 7.1.4, including support for configurable satellite speakers.
A 5.1.2 base system can be extended with two satellite speakers adding four channels, either configured as rear surround speakers with up-firing drivers or as front height speakers with two extra side-firing drivers. This provides a unique configuration that allows a customer to put the satellite speakers in the front height position to experience an even higher level of immersivity.
The Auro-3D Engine, a complete solution for AURO-3D soundbars, is provided as a single, integrated component that includes the premium Auro-Codec decoder, best-in-class Auro-Matic immersive sound upmixer and Auro-Scene virtualization technologies. It can be configured for the development of mainstream stereo soundbars, up to premium 7.1.4 systems, as well as smart speakers.
The AURO-3D virtual speaker technology delivers quality, performance and affordability and covers a wide range of speaker configurations. With the fast-growing availability of AURO-3D content and the expansion of the soundbar market, NEWAURO expects strong adoption of AURO-3D soundbar technology.
