NEWAURO BV, a leading provider of immersive sound technology for next-generation entertainment systems, will demonstrate its latest streaming technology solutions including its newest Next Generation Audio Codec AURO-Cx at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2023) in Las Vegas from January 5-7.
The AURO-3D streaming technology solutions are targeting Broadcasters, OTT Service Platform providers, Content owners, Integrators and Device Manufacturers. These will also allow end-consumers that already have AURO-3D enabled products in their home like soundbars, smart speakers, phones and AV-Receivers to experience AURO-3D content that is provided over the internet. This AURO-3D streaming technology can be applied to new service platforms and can address both new devices as well as installed base.
So far, the missing link in the AURO-3D product portfolio was a solution for Streaming. Today AURO-3D announces the availability of multiple streaming scenarios that leverage its lossless codec Auro-Codec and the all-in-one NGA codec Auro-Cx. Service Providers can enable OTT set-top boxes via their AURO-3D ready streaming application. For artists and studios this provides an easy solution to bring their immersive content to their audience exactly as they have envisioned it.
The AURO-3D Engine that currently handles AURO-3D decoding, up/down mixing, Speaker Virtualization and Rendering, will be extended with the newest AURO-Cx Decoder. This streaming technology will be provided as an extension to integrators and OEMs that can turn their products into AURO-3D streaming ready products.
