Support for Channel-based and Object-based Audio

Using the AURO-3D Creative Tool Suite, multiple masters of the same mix can be created in the uncompressed audio domain. Next to the traditional channel-based versions, the Creative Tools Suite now also supports the creation of object-based immersive and interactive mixes, with features such as:

• Multiple Programs/Presentations, with support for multiple languages, auxiliary tracks, commentary tracks and much more in a single audio stream

Mix and Monitor your Immersive Mix in all its Glory

With the all-new monitoring functions, this new version brings the unique ability to switch between different versions of the mix, all on the same monitoring setup. By selecting the right Mix Profile, you can be sure that your mix will be compatible with the supported features and limitations of the target deliverable. Support for Loudness Measurement ensures your mix, downmixes and interactive programs comply to the EBU R128 guidelines (other standards coming soon). The all new and patent-pending AURO rendering algorithms with room-centric panning, ensure that all your mixes translate as intended, from playback in your studio, to cinema theatres, home systems and even mobile devices. The Fader Link feature allows the Pro Tools fader, solo and mute buttons to control the AURO Panner's fader, solo and mute buttons. Next to this, X/Y panning can also be linked to the Pro Tools X/Y panning controls.

Export What you Need, When you Need it

Various new exports can now be enabled, next to the exports of mixes and stems in uncompressed PCM, targeting different applications of the same mix.

• Encoding of all supported AURO-3D formats with the renowned Auro-Codec® for release in cinema, on Blu-ray or downloads/streaming to AURO-compatible devices, with support for high sample rates (up to 96kHz)
• AuroMax® for Digital Cinema using SMPTE IAB (ST 2098-2)
• ADM BWF-files with support for the Broadcast Profile, according to ITU-R BS.2076

The AURO-3D Creative Tool Suite provides various ways to check the quality of the exported content.

• Quality Control and play back of Auro-Codec® encoded content using the Auro-Codec® reference Decoder plug-in

Auro-Matic Pro 2D/3D

The much praised Auro-Matic Pro plug-ins are now also part of the Creative Tool Suite, providing you with the best tools tools to transform any stereo or surround content into great immersive sound. The up-mixing plug-ins are based on an intelligent and highly efficient algorithm that uses a variety of early reflection patterns to create a two- or three-dimensional sound field from a one- or two-dimensional source, without affecting the intentional aesthetics of the original mix. The "Center Generator" feature allows extracting information (e.g. dialogue) from left and right Stereo signals to create a distinct Center channel.
